This site is dedicated to my friend, Bolling Holt. I started this site back in 2003. Bolling and I used to have heated discussions about politics and poorly produced electronics, cars, homes, you name it. It wasn't that we ever disagreed on this stuff, but that we'd both get so pissed off about it, that we'd get more agitated and animated about it all. Originally, I'd put all of my rants in an AIM away message for people to read, and sometimes Bo would share his favorites with Bolling. Bolling told me I should start a webpage, and put them there, so more people could read them. Back then, I worked at the TV station, and had some time during primetime on weekends to edit the page, so up it went. If you've been a frequent visitor, then you have Bolling to thank. If anything I said over the years pissed you off, or otherwise offended you, then I feel my efforts have been rewarded. Oh, and you have Bolling to thank for that as well. Motormontgomery.com was also his idea, and while it's in a perpetual state of construction, I hope to get everything put back together soon, since the new layout received his stamp of approval. 
Bolling unexpectedly passed away this May, and I feel that I owe him thanks for the years of friendship he provided. For the rest of you that knew him, fix yourself a gin and tonic, and remember the good old days. We'll all miss him terribly, but we'll all cherish the memories- from the great Weed Eater Javelin Throw to riding the Go Karts behind Jeff Davis. |
